Large cottages in the New Forest are ideal for Christmas
or New Year as they provide enough space for all the family,
grandparents, parents and children to be together for a few
days, without compromising on space. Everyone can eat together,
The Old Stables, for instance, has a dining table that seats
over 30 people! Imagine Christmas dinner there with the whole
family, or a special celebration meal on New Years day following
the New Years Eve party the night before, with all your friends
in one place together for the new years short break. What
better way to kick off the new year!
Our cottages range from family cottages sleeping 1-8 people,
to large cottages sleeping up to 44 or more. We will almost
certainly have the small, medium or large new forest cottage
for your family group or large group of friends. Booking ahead
makes good sense for New Year and Christmas, as they only
come around once a year!
We recognise that many people will not want a whole week
away at this time of year, so we offer both Christmas and
New Year as short breaks, to which you can add extra days
at just a nominal cost – still giving you the fexibility
to book a short break, a week, or any number of days between.
As well as the Christmas and New Years Eve breaks, we offer
a 2 night New Year break from 28th-30th December, an excellent
time when many people are off work and school, and taking
a short break is easy and convenient. This break is only about
half the cost of a new year’s eve break, yet still gives
you the opportunity to spend good times with family or friends,
and still go out for new years eve when you’re back
home if you want to.
