of our large holiday cottage in the New Forest:- located
on Rhinefield Ornamental Drive in Brockenhurst, New
Forest and sleeping 10 guests, this single storey
building stretches out in its plot of over an acre
which it shares with Rhinefield
Bothy.
This New Forest holiday cottage sleeps 10 guests
in its 4 bedrooms and is completely surrounded by
the New Forest, having over an acre and a quarter

The nearest neighbours (apart from Rhinefield
Bothy, which can be booked together with Vine)
are at Rhinefield House Hotel, a hundred yards away
and there have been dwellings on this site since the
area was proclaimed the "New Forest" by
William the Conqueror around 1097 AD.
Stepping
through the entrance to Vine Cottage into the hall,
you have room to take off your shoes and hang your
outdoor clothes on the coat hooks on the wall before
settling in to your accommodation.
The doors to bedrooms 2, 3 and 4
lead off the hall, with another door leading though

The dining room is quite central to the building.
Measuring approximately 5m x 3m (15ft x 9ft) the dining
room is easily spacious enough to comfortably cope
with 10 guests for dinner.
Perfect for family get-togethers, reunions, parties,
or any special occasion when you'd like to get a large
group together. The dining room itself is within the
old conservatory and is obviously a very light room.
The
kitchen is also within the large refurbished conservatory
and right next to the dining room. Measuring approximately
3m x 2.5m (10ft x 8ft), there is ample room for food
preparation on the freestanding stainless steel worktops.
Appliances include
a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven &
hob, washing machine. Kitchen storage is in the free
standing base units and wall shelves.

The lounge
at this holiday cottage is spacious and easily large
enough to take 10 guests. With windows the full length
of the room looking over the rear garden and hard
standing.
The lounge has a door at one end
leading outside and is very light and airy. A TV,
DVD player, video and stereo/CD player are provided for entertainment.
All rooms at Vine
Cottage are on the ground floor. Two bedrooms have doors
leading outside giving outside access independent
of the main entrance.
The
four bedrooms are made up of one single, one double, one with
a double and single, and one with two sets of bunk
beds, sleeping a total of 10. We can swap out some or all of these for singles for stag weekends etc. If you have any further

The Shower Rooms are
both located at the same end of the holiday cottage.
Both feature shower cubicle,
w.c. and sink. Please note there are no baths in this
cottage.
(The cottage next door, Rhinefield
Bothy, has three separate bathrooms of its own
and can be booked with Vine Cottage to accommodate
large groups of up to 28 guests).
