New Forest Holiday Cottage - this attractive detached family holiday cottage in the New Forest opens directly on to the forest. contact us

Set in grounds of approximately 1 ½ acres, surrounded by open heathland and with direct access to the New Forest, the self catering cottage stands on the outskirts of Brockenhurst on the road across the forest to Sway. New Forest Ponies and Highland Cattle can be seen grazing within yards of the cottage on most days.

The self catering accommodation consists of a porch with large sitting room ( pic 1 , pic 2) with original exposed beams features comfortable seating, colour television, DVD player, VCR and log-burning stove shown below.

Both the sitting room and the dining room open on to the sun-room, which has a selection of conservatory furniture and patio doors which open on to the extensive 1 ½ acre garden.

The gardens feature well-matured borders, a spruce, flower beds , and various other types of tree, shrub and plant-life. There is a selection of garden furniture to help you enjoy the outdoors.

The generously sized kitchen has a gas hob, double electric oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and a breakfast area in addition to the dining room (which sits 14). There is also a gas powered Aga.

Stairs to the first floor give access to bedrooms and bathroom:-

Large family Bedroom one is shown left with a 4'6"' double bed and two single 3' beds.

Bedroom two - 4' 6" double bed.

Bedroom three - two 3' beds.

Ground floor:

Bedroom four off the kitchen-breakfast room has 2' 6" bunk beds.

Family Bedroom five is situated at the end of the 'studio' hallway, and has a double bed and 2 single beds. The room has two windows and fitted mirrored wardrobes.

There is also a small secondary kitchen area with fridge, electric cooker and sink. Off the hallway is the shower room, with shower, toilet and sink cabinet.

A selection of local books, maps and attraction leaflets is provided.
Linen, heating and electricity are included. Towels are not included.
Travel cot and high chair available on request (please bring own cot bedding).
Children most welcome.
Strictly no smoking in the house.
