This
holiday cottage is set in a large garden
with outdoor furniture and barbecue in the rear
garden, and ample parking / boat storage, reached by a shingle
driveway.
The
south facing front garden is well surrounded by shrubs and hedging.
The mature hedging and trees offer good privacy in what is already
a quiet cul-de-sac. A brief walk around the corner brings you to
the White Hart pub, with a butchers and local shops 200 yards in
the other direction. The marina is only a 15 minute stroll away.

At
the end of the lane lies the sea wall coastal area with its protected
bird reserve and marshland and provides for scenic walks with views
of the Isle of Wight and the needles. Hurst Castle, which was a
prison to King Charles the First, in 1648 is at the end of the shingle
bank, looking over the Solent to the Isle of Wight.
The
beautiful New Forest with it's famous New Forest Ponies lies to
the north, with an abundance of wildlife, excellent throughout the
year for all ages, for walking, riding and cycling (with cycle hire
centres at Burley and Brockenhurst). contact

bustling Georgian quayside town, Lymington, is renowned for its sailing,
Saturday market and range of independent shops, variety of boat trips
and ferry link to the Isle of Wight. There are pubs and convenience
stores close by, and a choice of supermarkets, restaurants and shops
in the High Street, which is within walking distance. |

The
self catering accommodation consists of an entrance porch opening
on to a hall
with parquet flooring. Access to the under stairs cupboard where
you will find the baby cot and highchair stored.
Access
to the kitchen is straight ahead, dining room is through the kitchen
on the right (or through the front room), and downstairs cloakroom
with w.c. and basin are all from this large hallway. The stairs

Leading
on from the hallway we come to the kitchen
which has a large window looking out on to the rear garden of this
holiday cottage in the new forest. There is a connecting door to
the dining room and access to the rear garden.
Appliances
including cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, kettle, toaster
etc. A washing machine and tumble drier are also fitted out of sight
in the larder cupboard.

Entering
the dining
room from the kitchen, you can seat 8 around the large dining
table in comfort with the room measuring 12' x 11'. There are large
french windows to the front garden and sidelight windows which,
in this south facing room, allow a lot of light in. Nice for summer
breakfasts with the doors open!
The
dining room and lounge are connected by a large archway which opens
up the whole space as one large living area.

The lounge is large and feels very spacious with a large picture
window (south side of the holiday cottage and measuring approx 11ft
in width) which also overlooks the front garden. A window to the
west side allows further light into this big room (lounge measures
19'7" x 14').
There
is a television and video, films, books, CDs and radio/CD player
and games for indoor entertainment. The fireplace houses a cosy

Heading
up the stairs you find this holiday home in the new forest has a
bright, spacious landing leading to four bedrooms. The window at
the top of the stairs overlooks the rear
garden (which is part lawn, part border and part wooded area).The
airing cupboard is located on the landing. The hot water for the
house is provided by the immersion heater in the airing cupboard.
All
four bedrooms are on the first floor, with two twin rooms and two
double rooms, Bedroom
1 - 4'6" double bed, Bedroom
2 - 4'6" double bed, Bedroom
3 - two 3' singles, Bedroom
4 - two 3' singles.

The
rear garden has a large lawned area which is a little more shaded
than the front garden, so good for hotter days. There are well established
trees which provide a small wooded area - particularly handy for
teddy bears' picnics!
Both
gardens are planted with various bulbs (daffodils etc) which pop
out in spring and the garden is mature and well maintained. A barbecue
