Lewis House accommodates up to 14 people. All can dine together and lounge together in this contemporary architect-designed house, located in the South - West corner of the New Forest, at Walkford.

The Forest itself is only a short drive, and the beaches at Highcliffe are just a mile to the south.

Across the drive, Renwick Lodge is also available without Lewis House for up to 18 people or up to 30 when the two properties are combined, and Lewis house becomes a bedroom wing for Renwick Lodge, where all 30 can dine together and share the large lounge.

Walkford, New Forest The area is easily reached by road, being close to the A35 which runs the picturesque route through the New Forest From Lyndhurst to Christchurch. Hinton Admiral Railway station is also within walking distance. Local shops and pubs are both within a few minutes walk, with Highliffe a short drive or a reasonable walk away which has restaurants, including a very good Thai restaurant and an excellent Chinese take-away, seafood restaurants, many cafés and coffee shops, as well as fish and chip shops and pubs, some with restaurants.

Beaches are at Highcliffe and also at Highcliffe Castle, a particularly quiet beach approached through woodland. The Castle and grounds, and tea room are also open to the public.

The whole of the New Forest is within easy reach by car, as is the quayside town of Christchurch, excellent for boating with rivers and the natural harbour formed by the Hengistbury Head spit.

The kitchen has granite worktops, new fitted appliances and a large range cooker.

The large lounge space and dining space has a contemporary working open fireplace, and the floors have been fitted with newly sanded reclaimed floorboards.

There are 5 double rooms one of which also includes two extra single beds making a family room, and a double sofa-bed in the large lounge. There are 2 bath/shower rooms and 1 additional spacious downstairs cloakroom / utility room. Living space consists of a large lounge for gathering and socializing, a large kitchen & dining space with room at the table for all 14 guests. There is a television & dvd player.

This cottage lends itself well to weekends or short breaks or full weeks for family groups, birthday celebrations and family holidays in the new forest area, also being located near the south coast beaches and not far from the beaches at Bournemouth.

The open plan lounge has hardwood decking and a lawn outside accessed by full height vaulted french windows.

The ground floor has newly sanded and fitted reclaimed floorboards throughout, which were saved from local 'Sway Place' manor house on it's demolition.
